Afro Cuban dance with Reynaldo Gonzalez!
(Musicians accompany the class with live percussion )
Afro Cuban Dance- Born in Matanzas, Cuba, Reynaldo Gonzalez has been dancing, singing and playing percussion since early childhood. Musicians accompany the class with live percussion, playing traditional rhythms for the particular dances that are taught. Many of these traditional or folkloric rhythms and dances are the root of today's popular Latin music and dance. The class begins with a warm up before dancing begins. Wear comfortable clothing, dance barefooted, no partner is needed and all levels are welcome.
